We have no hesitation in endorsing whole heartedly the 10 principles of
the Academic Impact. We will engage our members in higher education
across the world in promoting these principles. We sincerely believe
that these principles are pivotal in building a peaceful world and
harmonious societies.
UK Prime Minister Initiative 2 (PMI2)
Project
The
Management of Technology Study Centre (MOTSC) at University of
International Business and Economics (UIBE) is also proud to be a
partner with Salford University on its UK Prime Minister Initiative 2
(PMI2) Project

The primary aim of the project is to
share knowledge in higher education between UK and China and to promote:

Establishment of UK–China collaborative partnerships in higher education
·
Employability, entrepreneurship and global citizenship
·
Innovation and internationalisation.
Dr Richard Li-Hua, as an Academic Leader, has been leading this
prestigious project. This project has been funded by British Council.
UIBE MOTSC
Partners China IPR Monitor
MOTSC has established a partnership network for monitoring China IPR and
publishing China IPR Monitor Report on mutual interest and benefit:
Modalities for Collaboration
All MOTSC partnership institutes participating in the network shall be
subject to the following guidelines:
·
The primary aim for the implementation of the network will be the
publication of MOTSC China IPR Monitor Report
·
An annual report on the institute’s activities concerning China IPR
Monitor shall be submitted to MOTSC
·
The partnership does not create any financial, human resource or other
obligation for either party other than those specified therein
·
The use of the logo of each party shall be given favourable
consideration for ad hoc activities, subject to prior written
approval in each case
·
All MOTSC partnership institutes participating in the network shall be
acknowledge in China IPR Monitor Report
·
The partnership will be established on the basis of a memorandum of
understanding (MOU)
·
The period of the partnership is for three years, with the possibility
of renewal, subject to the continued fulfilment of the criteria
mentioned above
Criteria for Entering into Partnership
Those institutes wishing to participate in the network must fulfil the
following basic key criteria:
·
Be a governmental or not-for-profit organization or academic institute
of higher education learning
·
Have a mandate and program of activities that are consonant with MOTSC
mission, aims and objectives
·
Have achieved excellence in the quality of its research and training
activities, which must include the international aspects of IPR
·
Making a significant contribution to the field of IPR
·
Have a minimum of three full-time academic or research staff to
implement the research program as per the requirement of MOTSC
·
Have a proven track record in cooperating with MOTSC or other
international research institutions in the area of IPR
·
Have suitable on-site training facilities, including adequate training
rooms, teaching equipment (including Internet access and work stations
for trainees), and research and reference materials.

admission to the MOTSC partnership network, and who share our vision,
aims and objectives, and fulfil the criteria set out above, are kindly
